To be eligible for the BUK Post UTME screening, candidates must:-

  • Choose Bayero University, Kano (BUK) as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
  • Score the minimum UTME cut-off mark required for their chosen course of study. Each programme has its own cut-off mark, so candidates should confirm they meet the required score before applying.
  • Possess at least five (5) O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics where applicable, in subjects relevant to their chosen course. The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • Upload their WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent O'Level result(s) to JAMB CAPS before the admission process is completed.

How to Apply for BUK Post UTME Form 2026/2027

Candidates who meet the admission requirements should follow the steps below to apply for the Bayero University Post UTME screening form:-

  1. Visit the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Post UTME portal.
  2. Click on "2026 UTME Online Screening Exercise" on the homepage.
  3. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as your username.
  4. Enter your UTME Aggregate Score as your password.
  5. Complete the profile update form with the required information.
  6. Generate and download your BUK Personalised Payment Invoice (PPI).
  7. Pay the ₦2,000 Post UTME screening fee using the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) through a debit card, internet banking, or at any commercial bank.
  8. If you paid at a bank, return to the portal and click "Check Your Payment" to confirm your payment.
  9. Print your Post UTME acknowledgement slip after successful payment and registration.
  10. Keep the acknowledgement slip safe, as you may need it during the admission process.
